Trampoline

My parents trampoline has been broken for the past year and my mom finally got all the replacement parts and we got it put together this weekend. Layton really loved it, and he had so much fun, I think we have found just the thing to use up all his energy.

Pushy, Pushy

So for the last couple weeks, and last night at the ward party was no exception. Layton pushes every kid that he sees. They don't even have to be playing together, a kid walks by and he runs up to them and pushes them. He doesn't do it hard, it really just hurts the kids feelings rather than actually hurting them. But, as soon as it happens we always grab him and put him in time-out for a minute and then when he gets out he has to find the kid he pushed and say sorry and give them a hug. We never just ignore it. Because I hate when parents won't teach their kids. But, it isn't getting better, if anything it is gradually getting worse. This is a cry for help. What should we do!?!? I don't want to have the mean kid in the group.

"Pie" oneer Party

Last night our ward had a pioneer party, each family had to take a pie and there was a band and people teaching pioneer dances. We had a lot of fun. Someone even held Parker so Lance and I could dance together, Layton didn't put up with that for very long. But, it was fun while it lasted.

Pioneer Day Celebration

Happy 24th of July everybody! We had a really fun day. The theme of the parade was family heritage, so the kids had to dress up like a past family member. We tried to put Parker in the 4th of July parade and it didn't go to well, so he sat this one out.

But Layton dressed up as his Great Grandpa Vance Sagers who runs a farm with cattle and horses and, in his younger years rode bareback and bulls.

Layton LOVED it, he wanted to ride his horse all day, and I had a heck of a time getting him to change into cooler clothes.

We had a lot of fun, there was a bounce house, a dunking machine, a greased pig chase, and corn husk doll making. Layton participated in and loved every minuet of all of it!

Later, after a nice dinner and a program we watched a movie. On a screen held up by a tractor! We didn't watch the whole thing, Layton got a little restless, so we came home and went to bed.

Swimming Lessons

Layton started swimming lessons today. He is in a mommy and me class with his friend Logan. We had a lot of fun. I hope that he will learn to love the water like Lance and I do!
He has his towel and is anxious to go inside!

The Res

Recently we went over to the Res for a few hours. The kids had so much fun.
Everybody loved the banana as usual, and Layton wanted to stay on it the whole time.

Lance took the boys out for a swim.

Layton loved sitting at the waters edge, digging in the sand.

Layton and mom, in the boat.

Parker and Dad. Parker was a very good baby.

My own little heaven

So sorry about the blogging hold up. Well, I finally have my craft room put together, and I love it! I have been getting so much scrapbooking done, I can just take a few minuets here and there and I am amazed at how much progress I am making. HOORAY FOR ME!

Hair Cut

So, as my very observant family and friends have noticed. Yes! I cut my hair. I was so bored with it and long hair isn't pretty unless you actually do something with it. So I cut 12, can you belive it? TWELVE inches off, but it feels great and I am really happy with it. Here are the before and after pictures...

4th Of July!!!

We had a really fun 4th. We went to the parade in the morning and then over to the park for lunch and games. Parker and Layton both took a nap while we were there. Then in the afternoon we came home for a little bit to cool off. Then of course, as usual Lance did farm work for a few hours. We had a BBQ at my parents for dinner, more farm work, and then up to the fireworks. We had a such a good day. Happy Birthday America!!!

Lance and Layton, Yeahhh 4th of July!

Childrens Parade

On the 3rd of July there is a children's parade, the kids decorate their bikes and ride around the block that the park is on. My nieces and nephews came over to our house this afternoon and had fun getting their bikes ready, then we made it to the parade just in time, they were the last ones. But, they made it and that is what counts, right?
Layton rode in his car and our friend Kyler steered him, even though Kyler didn't really want to be in the parade. Thanks for being a good sport Kyler!
Even Parker and my niece BrookLynn joined in on the fun, with Austin pushing of course.
After it was over the kids all got a hot dog for being in the parade, Fun night, I LOVE the fourth of July!!!!

Happy Parker

Parker is such a happy and smiling baby. We love him so much and love watching him grow literally before our eyes!
