Please stop moving so fast. I want these times with my babies to last MUCH longer than they are.
Love, Me

A lot of dough was eaten. But in the end a few cookies made it out of the oven :)
here is the recipe:
Nana's Chocolate Chip Cookies
cream together-
2 c. brown sugar
1. c. white sugar
4 eggs
2 c. shortening
2 t. vanilla
after that is mixed well, add-
2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
then gradually add-
4 1/2 c. flour
after it is all mixed add-
2 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts (you don't have to add the nuts... but they won't taste as good :)
Drop spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 min. When they are done take the cookie sheet out of the oven and hold it about 6 inches above the counter. Then drop it! It gives the cookies the cracks on the top, and I think makes a big differencfe in the taste (more chewy, I think) Cool on a wire rack.
Try them today! You will be in love.
So, out we went to build a snowman.
We did snow angels too.
My hands and feet on the left, Layton's on the right. He thought it was super neat to make our hand and foot prints like that.
We had such a fun afternoon. I love you Layton!
trying . . .
Success!!! (look at his little pleased smile :)
Getting their treats.
Before all the moms get there. They helped Sarah make these cookies. They were all super excited to finally get to eat them!
I have a slight pajama obsession, so of course there has to be pajamas for the holiday.
