Lake Powell, here we come!!! (day 1)

After getting to bed at 4 am {after seeing ECLIPSE!} and waking up at 7 am... I finished packing everything and we even met our goal of leaving Fillmore at 11!

A long drive and a stop at the Kanab park for lunch. Kanab is awesome by the way, have you seen the city park??? It. Is. AMAZING. I want to plan things just so we can drive through Kanab and stop at the park, yes it is that awesome.

Anyway :) we finally got to the big LP (Lake Powell) around 5 and the boys were so excited to get right in the water.

Eventually convinced them to get out of the water and into the boat... (haha, look at them running. You can tell we really had to do a lot of convincing :)

Then off on a long ride to find our beach, good bye extremely hot loading ramp, hello cool LP waters!!!

Swimming lessons...

Layton did so great at swim lessons this year, especially in comparison to last years disaster!

Eclipse triple feature!

This isn't even our whole group because there weren't enough seats to sit all 12 of us together. Bu this is our little group that did get AWESOME seats (it was totally a twilight miracle :)

up the canyon...

Last week we decided to go up the canyon for dinner. I feel so lucky to have this beautiful place 10 minuets from my house.

we went fishing...

and hiking...

then roasted hot dogs, with of course smores for dessert. (if you want a delicious smore, make it with nutella instead of a chocolate bar!)

and no trip up the canyon would be complete without climbing the big rock :)

Eclipse!!!

update: yay! all the tickets are taken, some people may not be able to make it though so let me know if you want me to call you if someone can't come!

I want to get a group of girls together for the midnight showing of the new twilight movie "Eclipse" at the new theater in Nephi.

I thought we would could all go to dinner together, then go to the movie. The question is do we want to go the the triple feature- which starts at 7 pm and you watch all three movies in a row !?! Or is just watching Eclipse good enough for everyone???

Ticket prices are $7.50 for Eclipse, plus an additional $7.50 if we want to do the triple... so obviously $15 total.

Let me know if you want me to get you a ticket, and if you think we should do the triple or just eclipse.

I want to buy tickets right away so let me know, thanks!

I actually did a couple digital scrapbook pages. (and perhaps set a record by taking, editing, and scrapbooking these photos all in the same day, before 3 pm might I add!!!)

Oh my heck, I am feeling like the worst blogger ever!

Who leaves a post about a yard sale up for a week??? I promise to do some fun new posts soon, but I have lots of very patient mamas waiting to see their beautiful babies pictures.... so I better do that stuff first :)
