Christmas Morning 2012
This was my first Christmas morning ever to not be at my parents house. I really missed being with them but we had a good facetime talk and I know they are where they should be!
The boys got up around 5 and of course were so excited. Santa left their presents in big red bags with their names on, and they took turns pulling presents out one at a time.
We had a really fun morning and took our time, letting the kids play with the toys they were opening in between turns. It was such a picturesque experience and I felt so grateful for my little family and what a blessing they are in my life.
So grateful to be able to provide such a special Christmas for my sweet boys. We all had a delightful day, and loved every minute of it!
Our Christmas eve jammies left to us by our Elf on the shelf, he even left Jammies for Sugar and Ginger! Haha, Sugar was killing me. She just sat there staring at me like "What have I done to deserve this!?"
Just a sidenote, I set my camera up on a tripod and have a remote for it. It was so so SO nice to be able to just experience Christmas morning with my boys and click the button every once in a while, rather than have a big camera around my neck and in my face all day. Plus its nice to be known as a part of the family, rather then to be the "invisible Mom" in all their scrapbooks :)

In Fillmore every year the Ashton's put on a live nativity for the community They do such a great job and it is one of our favorite traditions.
This year they asked if Nixon could be baby Jesus!

Junior Jazz Basketball
This was Layton's first year doing Junior Jazz Basketball. He loved doing it and did such a good job. I can't wait to keep watching him through the years.
