Playing Pigs???

The other morning Layton came and asked me if it was ok that they "play pigs" I wasn't sure what game he was referring too, but it sounded pretty harmless.
Soon there was lots of giggling and yells of happiness, I came around the corner to see them doing this...

How is this "playing pigs" you ask? Well duh, they are jumping into their corral :)

Layton and Issac

Isaac and Layton are best little buds. They are so funny together, Isaac is 5 and Layton is 3 but they get along so well.

They had been inside the house with all of the women and the other kids. But they just knew that the men needed their help with the cows. So they put their cowboy hats on (over their warm beanie hats :) and headed out, holding hands.

Gap Sale

wrestling with daddy

If there is one thing that my boys love to do it is wrestle. I can barely even stand to watch because it gets a little extreme. I just sit and yell at Lance to be careful! So I useually leave the room. :)

Haiti... 1995

I got this email this morning.
I was only in 5th grade when this happened and I don't remember it going on, but I was crying my eyes out while watching this morning.

I military man from Fillmore started a service project for an orphanage in Haiti when he was stationed there in 1995. I am always blown away by the sweet members of our church who do wonderful things daily.

Parker loves our little Ginger puppy so much. We tie a washcloth to a rope and she will chase them around, they laugh soooo hard.

Joy School?

We are starting Joy School again after the Christmas break, we are so sad that the Randall's moved away. We miss you guys!

But because they have moved we have a couple open spots in Joy School. It is every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-12. The moms take turns teaching and so obviously the more mom's there are, the less you teach. All the kids right now are about 3 1/2, give or take a few months.

Bad Guy!

Parker and Layton think that it is the funnest game to get all my headbands and put them on. But oh no, they aren't playing dress-up they are playing "bad guy" somehow the headbands are the the masks that bad guys wear.

Anyway, they think it is the funnest game ever, I'm not sure why I even buy toys.

No, he doesn't have a lazy eye. He does this when he smiles, I think it is adorable.

1st Day of Primary

Layton's first day of primary was this last Sunday. I can't believe he is old enough to be in primary!

He did surprisingly well (in my opinion)! I am the primary chorister so it is harder for him, to be able to see me but still be with his teachers (who he doesn't know yet). I think it would be easier to be able to just drop off and leave.

But anyway, he did great and my good friend Katy just got called to be another of his teachers so that should be good, he knows her a little better.

Fingers crossed, hopefully the good behavior wasn't fluke!!!

Ginger...

Against our good sense, Lance and I gave the boys one last gift for Christmas...

What is it?...

A PUPPY!?!

It has been a little bit of a hassle, one more thing to get up in the night with you know... but now she is pretty well crate trained, and Parkers LOVES her. Layton likes her too but Parker really really loves her.

She is sweet, I guess I'll get used to it :)
