Lance and I went with my brother and sis-in-law, and my mom and dad over to Richfield to see Michael McLean's "The Forgotten Carols". I have heard the music during Christmas time for my whole life, but Lance hadn't ever heard any of the songs, so I wasn't sure if he would like it or not.
But of course we all loved it! It was funny, spiritual, sad, and everything in between. Without being inappropriate. Micheal McLean is awesome and all the other performers were so great. I totally recommend it.

That used to a tradition between me and my best friend throughout high school - we'd go together every year up until she and I couldn't anymore (college, mission, marriage and all that spoils everything!)
It's actually changed a lot through the years! They only recently made it more like an actual play than a concert. It takes a bit of warming up to for me because I've seen it the old way so many times, but it's still a great story and a good tradition - so glad you got to go and enjoy!
