YARD SALE!!!!

update: Thanks so much for the yard sale love. We got pretty much everything sold and I am buying my boys both twin beds with what we earned, horray!!!

We are having a SWEET yard sale today down at the sunrise engineering lawn (500 N. Main Street) from 9:00am-5:00pm.
Not to toot my own horn, but I have a ton of good stuff ! I am SERIOUSLY having a hard time not shopping at my own yard sale :)
I am posting pictures on facebook but there is:

a super nice dinning set with 8 chairs (the table has 2 extra leaves)

my double stroller
dresser

NICE baby swing
bass guitar
fly fishing pole
weed eaters

a TON of like new gymboree/gap clothes

2 sets of crib bedding

and more and more and more!!!

You guys, I have only been married for 4 years and my oldest child is 3... I don't have old stuff. I just don't want to become one of those people you see on "Hoarders" :)

Come check it out, my mom will also be there with in stock discovery toys (the new water shooters at the FUNNEST EVER!!!)

Branding 2010

A few weeks ago we had the yearly branding. The boys always love it and it was fun to have a bunch of Lance's family down to help us out.

Joy School Graduation

Layton Graduated from Joy School this week, along with Dakota and Logan of course.

We had a little graduation ceremony for them at our house and it went.... okay :) There were lots of people and it made the boys super nervous to stand in front of everyone. But Layton was for sure the most anxious of the bunch...

This is when we were singing some songs we had learned, notice cute Logan and Dakota singing... then there is Layton in the back. At least he stood up with them (we are seeing the silver lining here)

Thanks so much to everyone who came, and thanks to Grandma Jerri and Grandpa Dennis for the balloons for Layton. He really was excited to get them.

Also, thanks so much to Mackenzie and Sarah for doing this with me and for putting up with, and being so patient with Layton.

I'm Thankful...

I am so thankful to live in Fillmore and to be so close to my parents.
I am thankful that my boys will be able to grow up on this farm and learn to work as hard as their daddy does.

I loved that while Lance was saddling up Layton's horse Layton said he was thirsty and went over and got a drink...

I love living here and I am so Thankful for my boys!!!

What Parker did...

While Layton was away Parker wasn't going to be outdone, he for sure had a fun weekend. Probably the highlight for him was digging in the garden with his cousin BrookLynn.
Isn't he funny??? Seriously, he could not have been happier.

BTW, I did not tell him to do this, I walked up with my camera and he put his little face in the handle and said "Cheeese".

A weekend away...

About a month ago Lance had an afternoon off of work, and because that NEVER ever happens we decided to do something fun with the boys... well on a very rainy week day there isn't much to do, so we ended up going over to McDonald's (Layton calls it "Old MacDonald's" like the song) and letting them play.

Lance's parents stopped in to say hi on their way through and Layton begged to go with them. For some reason he is crazy about St George...

So we let him and he had tons of fun, he asks me almost everyday if we can go to St. George and to Pirate island.

A big step for him (and for me :) Thanks Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Jerri, he loved it.

Obviously I made them take pictures and send them to me :)

Spring Portraits...

I did my boys spring portraits the other day, they are starting to get used to it I think... :)

coloring easter eggs...

Continuing on with my string of random/late posts :)

We didn't get a chance to color eggs until the day before Easter, the kids had lots of fun. And we could actually let Parker touch the eggs this year... although he did break a few :)

It gets a little wild when 8 kids color eggs at the same time :)
