my own "super saturday" DAY AND TIME

Hey guys, I am so sorry to be so flaky about all of this.

The for real day has been set, (and I swear I am not changing it again!!!)

This crafty girls night will be Tuesday, October 12th at 6 pm!!!

I have the stuff to make 10 wreaths, so they will be for the first people who tell me they want them (4 are already taken).

Plenty of stuff for pumpkins, and flowers. Also Mary Loertscher is going to teach us how to make some super cute circle silk flowers that will just be there for anyone who wants to come and do a little project.

If you want to do the sign please let me know asap, so I can get the vinyl ordered.

my own "super saturday"

I have been waiting and waiting for my ward to do a "super Saturday" and I guess it isn't going to be anytime soon. But I have lots of cute fallish crafts that I have been wanting to do.

So I thought I would just organize my own "super Saturday"! Any excuse to have friends over and eat yummy treats right? :)

So anyway, these are the projects I wanted to make

fabric pumpkins $5 each pumpkin

rosette flower $2 per flower (for hats, hair clips, pin on a bag, etc!)

halloween sign $15

burlap wreath $17

Yay! Doesn't it all look like so much fun?!?

I was thinking of doing it on Thursday, October 7th, at my house. From 6pm- until whenever we are done! With lots of yummy treats.

Let me know if you would like to come, and what you would like to make. Particularly the sign because I need to get the vinyl.

Obviously I'm not doing this to make money for myself, this would just be for the cost of the supplies.

a new obsession...

We have a new obsession at our house... computer games. Nothing crazy just nick jr. and pbskids, but Layton loves it.

So much so that we made him a chart and if he is good, he earns 5 min of computer time, if he is naughty he looses 5 min.

Did you know that at the school, even the kindergarten takes tests on computers !?! I love the way the computer tests work, and am so glad that Millard School District is "with it" enough to have them. I just don't want Layton to fail all his tests because he can't run a computer mouse!

So... here we are. He loves it, and it gives mommy a little more free time too :)

(don't mind the very messy counter, haha, I'm a real person too!!!)

potty training parker...

We have been potty training Parker... it's going... alright...

Haha, at least he is excited about it! :)

We went to the always exciting Family Dollar so he could pick out some special undies.

He got a sticker (and of course an m&m) each time he went, and once he got five stickers he could choose a prize (the prizes were pictures of him doing something he loves) then we would do it.

He is not "potty trained" by any means, but we are working on it :)

SMORES!!!

I was having a major smores craving, but it was super windy outside so we didn't want to go out and sit in the wind. So we made them over the stove.

Of course they were delicious! I make them with nutella instead of a chocolate bar..... oh my goodness, it is pure heaven! Go try it!

The boys got these little 4-wheelers for Christmas and they have liked them a lot and rode them around like normal kids...
Then the other day Lance was laughing and I went outside to see this...

Haha, they were so funny.

Don't mind the crazy socks, they have non slip on the bottom and the boys would wear them everyday if I kept them washed and in their drawers. (also a christmas gift, umm thanks?!? grandma Jerri, I'm just kidding they are very stylish :)

Swimming with Nana and Pop...

Before summer is pretty much over and school is started, my parents took all the kids for one last swim at the pool. They are so great, we are really lucky to live so close!
